Cuby Terra uses millimeter-wave radar technology to detect occupancy, even when guests are resting, sleeping, reading, or working at a desk.   When the room becomes unoccupied, Cuby Terra can automatically turn off the air conditioner or activate setback mode to reduce energy consumption.   The detection range can be adjusted directly from the thermostat’s display and expanded with additional wireless sensors to provide coverage in larger rooms. ###### What if the room has areas outside the coverage of Cuby Terra’s occupancy radar? Yes. A Cuby Sentry sensor can be added to extend occupancy detection in areas that are outside the coverage of the thermostat. ###### Is internet required to install and operate Cuby Terra? No. Cuby Terra can be installed and operated even without an internet connection. Air conditioner control, schedules, and automations continue to run locally and function normally.   Internet is only required for centralized management through the web platform and mobile app.   Once the connection is restored, remote access becomes available again automatically. ###### Is there an additional cost for the web platform? No. The web platform is included with Cuby devices and does not require any additional licenses. ###### Can Cuby Terra integrate with my PMS? Yes, Cuby Terra supports PMS integration.
